The right side shows the book cover Always Ask for Help by Arnie Stewart and Janet Lee, featuring a red background and a child‑style drawing of a red heart outlined in blue, green, and yellow, framed by large black headphones.

Janet Lee is an educator, author, and producer. As an English Department Chair, she helped open two secondary schools in Ontario and later led literacy curriculum development for over 120 schools across the province. An instructional writer for the best-selling Nelson Literacy series and an international speaker for her Face-2-Face Forever series, Janet has inspired educators to reimagine how literacy lives in both traditional and digital classrooms.

Her recently published book, Always Ask for Help, shares the extraordinary story of Arnie Stewart, who lived 59 years unable to read or write. After Arnie visited her Grade 11 class more than two decades ago, Janet promised to share his message. A promise now realised through a feature-length Hollywood documentary film in production. Known for her engaging, practical, and inspiring sessions, Janet weaves her love of literature with multimedia production to help educators and students connect through story, language, and creativity.
